SUCCESS STORY!"I first started coming to Freight House Fitness in August of 2014 with a Groupon and hopes of finding a new gym to get myself back into shape. After one class, I felt absolutely dead tired and every muscle in my entire body hurt... I knew this was the place for me. At first, I was only able to do 1-2 classes a week and then upped it to 3-4 by November. After hearing about the 90 Day Challenge, I knew this was something that would not only challenge me but would make me a better person from the inside-out.The first couple weeks of my 90 Day Challenge were incredibly tough. I had to teach myself what a good day of fuel for my body looked like. As much as I thought it was all about "eating healthy", it was much more than that. I discovered that it was easy to overeat carbs and entirely too easy to not eat enough protein. I made the promise to myself to not only learn how to cook better food and more nutritious but to also learn exactly what to order when going out with friends. Sean and Kendra could not have been more amazing and helpful in answering all the questions that I constantly asked.Throughout my 90 Day Challenge, I lost, plateaued, gained, got frustrated, became overcome with joy and felt a little bit lost... but in the end I found my true self again. I know now what my body craves. I know how important exercise is and how it makes me a happier person. I know that I could not have done this by myself and didn't have to because I had the support of not only Sean and Kendra but everyone in the group. I found myself and developed friendships with so many people as well as strengthening my own personal relationships. On the outside, people have always described me as a cheerful and happy person, but I realized that I needed to find that person that I once was and Freight House Fitness was my guiding light.Currently, I have no plans to stop on this fitness journey anytime soon. I continue to feel better every day. Knowing that I have a great community of friends working out next to me at Freight House is just more motivation for me to keep on pushin'.
