Were so excited to be bringing Barre classes to Freight House Fitness!! This class is killer and will tone and strengthen you in so many ways!! Pair this up with Bootcamp or make Barre and Yoga your sole workout. Your options our endless!!Barre starts this week on Tuesdays & Thursday evenings at 6:30pm as a 45 min class. How Barre Stacks Up Against Cardio
"No dance experience required! All types of people are welcome.Freight House Barre will focus on the physical and aesthetic benefits of lengthening and strengthening muscles, inspired by ballet and other disciplines like yoga and Pilates.We'll begin with a warm-up and sequence of upper-body exercises to work biceps, triceps, shoulders, chest and back. (Don't be surprised if light weights are incorporated to enhance the reps during these exercises.) Then we'll move to a ballet barre sequence that will focus on thighs. Our core will be engaged the entire class and will be targeted at the end. We'll finish the class with a series of stretches to increase flexibility and allow muscles to recover.Please wear breathable, comfortable, tight-fitting workout clothes so the instructor can easily see form and alignment.
